Commitment

Base-2 Solutions designs and operates its web properties to be usable by people with disabilities and to align with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended, and with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Accessibility is treated as an ongoing engineering responsibility rather than a one-time review.

Standards and Testing

Base-2 Solutions targets WCAG 2.1 Level AA and applicable Section 508 requirements. The site is evaluated through automated accessibility checks, semantic HTML validation, keyboard-focused browser tests, and manual review as part of ongoing development.

Automated testing and manual review, used in combination, cannot guarantee that every page is free of accessibility defects. We welcome reports of issues so that we can correct them.

Compatibility

Automated browser checks run against Chromium and include keyboard interaction, focus management, and structural accessibility rules. Browser and assistive-technology combinations vary, so we welcome reports from visitors using other configurations.

Known Limitations

Despite best efforts, some portions of this website may not yet be fully accessible. Known limitations include the following:

• The animated gradient on the homepage hero is decorative. It is suppressed automatically for visitors whose operating system or browser is set to the “reduce motion” preference.
• Some pages surface or link to content served by third parties — for example, the LinkedIn news feed on the homepage, and the “Open in Google Maps” directions link on the contact page, which opens Google Maps in a new tab rather than embedding a map. Those third-party experiences are produced and maintained by their providers and may not conform to the same accessibility standard as the rest of this website.
