Build secure software, strengthen cybersecurity, and solve cloud and data challenges
for federal, defense, and intelligence missions. Join a small business where your
work supports operational users directly.
Our roles are primarily in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC.
Clearance, schedule, and work arrangements depend on the role and contract.

Mission-Focused Technical Work
Base-2 teams apply software engineering, cybersecurity, data, and mission-support skills to
federal programs where reliability and sound technical judgment matter.
The day-to-day experience depends on the customer, program, work location, and clearance
requirements. Recruiters and hiring managers can describe the actual responsibilities,
schedule, and work environment for each opening during the interview process.
Professional Development
We want employees to keep developing the skills their work and long-term careers require.
Role-relevant training and certification support may be approved based on business and
program needs.
Employees can learn from technical leads and peers through project work, reviews, and
knowledge sharing.
Available development resources and reimbursement terms are explained during recruiting
and onboarding; they may vary by role and may change over time.
Clearance Support
Many Base-2 roles support cleared federal programs.
Active-clearance requirements are listed on individual openings whenever the information
is available.
Clearance sponsorship or upgrade support may be available when justified by a program and
permitted by the customer.
Government processing and adjudication determine clearance timing; Base-2 does not promise
a specific crossover or investigation schedule.
Equal Employment Opportunity
Base-2 Solutions is an equal opportunity employer. Employment decisions are made without regard to race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, protected veteran status, disability, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law. Reasonable accommodation is available throughout the employment process.
