Information Collected Automatically

Base-2 Solutions does not use session replay, heatmaps, advertising analytics, or cross-site tracking on this website. We do not place advertising or marketing cookies.

Standard web server logs maintained by our hosting provider may record routine information such as IP address, user agent string, requested URL, response status, and timestamp. These logs are retained for operational purposes, including security monitoring and troubleshooting.

On the production website, we use Amazon CloudWatch Real User Monitoring for sampled operational telemetry. It may collect page-performance measurements, browser and device information, page paths, failed network request details, JavaScript errors, and approximate location derived from an IP address. It is configured to sample up to 10% of page sessions, does not record session replay or interaction events, and does not retain resource URLs in performance events. CloudWatch RUM retains its event data for 30 days.

Information You Submit

When you use our contact or careers inquiry form, we use the details you provide to route and respond to your inquiry. Messages are delivered to the appropriate Base-2 Solutions team using Amazon Simple Email Service. A careers inquiry is separate from an application in our applicant portal.

After a successful submission, a short-lived functional cookie lets us display a confirmation once. It contains a confirmation flag, not your form answers, and expires after two minutes if it has not already been cleared.

Where a job offers an application form directly on this website, we use Amazon Simple Email Service to send an email verification code. An encrypted functional cookie contains your email address, verification code and selected role, and expires after 15 minutes. We forward the application details and any résumé you attach to our Taleo recruiting system for recruitment. The website holds the uploaded document in memory during transfer and does not keep a separate stored copy. If you have an existing candidate profile, we ask you to contact recruiting to complete your application; this form does not change that profile or its résumé.

These application pages do not initialize CloudWatch RUM. A separate signed functional cookie records the selected role and submission outcome so that refreshing the confirmation page does not resubmit the application. It contains no application answers or résumé.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

CloudWatch RUM is configured not to set its session or user cookies and does not create a persistent RUM user identifier. It may use local storage temporarily to obtain short-lived credentials required to send telemetry securely to Amazon Web Services. Some browsers may also store small amounts of functional state, such as session storage used by the navigation drawer. You may manage or clear this state through your browser settings.

Third-Party Embedded Content

Some pages embed content served from third parties — for example, the news pages render a LinkedIn RSS feed proxied through rss.app. The contact page does not embed a map: its “Open in Google Maps” directions link opens Google Maps in a new tab, so no request is sent to Google unless you select that link. Those third parties may observe requests made to their services according to their own privacy policies.
